Never can tell its a van unless you know what you're looking at. Many think its an SUV, facture in the look, our tints are 5% etc. We have ours in Black and we get so many compliments. I can maybe count all the ones in our area on two hands safely. Styling? where i live there is not many of these around. Best feature I like about this van is the rear camera that faces the back seats. we did pay a mark up of 1,500 but still nothing close to the Sienna when all was said and done. did not have half the features our Carnival did and the Carnival MSRP price was about 36-37. Value for the money? at MSRP pricing on an EX trim in a 2022 year, by far this is a steal!! Again test drove a sienna base base lowest trim and price was about 43K. Have to fill up ever other day based off driving and traffic patterns. I use this for family and commuter to work which is about 100 miles a day 5 days a week. it cruises along fine, and when you need to get moving, this thing moves with no hesitation at all Downside is i wish they offered a hybrid option. This is not your normal minivan you grew up with. Steering wheel feels great, I had a toyota for a few days and the Carnivals compared to toyotas is by far better. Moment you open it itll pull a list of local kia dealers based off your location just in case. The display for the radio, zero complaints. Leaves many options for the layout of the inside to your liking. We got an 8 seater and can make it a 7 seater, which we do most of the time, or remove two making a 5 etc. the ability to move all three seats individually in the second row makes things so much easier. Seats in the back are great for the kids. The heating feature in the seats, pretty xxxx amazing. We have the EX trim so we got leather seats. When the car was new the seats were a bit hard, but as to be expected though. Other than that, I will keep this one until they add something else I can't live wihtout! #12 passenger van for sale upgradeIf they do upgrade the Hybrid version, that will be my next vehicle. I was a bit disappointed when the new gas Pacifica announced an AWD version but did not extend AWD to the Hybrid. This Pacifica is close to perfect and later models are even better having added a couple things I miss (garage door openers and driver's seat memory among them.) The interior is great and well finished and is as nice as my last Mercedes (1986 300E.) (I keep my pickups for closer to 9 years and am waiting to see the TESLA electric truck!) Normally we have replaced our minivans every three years since our first Dodge Caravan in 1985. I followed development of this Hybrid Pacifica for several years and held off replacing my 2011 Town & Country until it was available. We have often gone two months without having to fill up! I have solar panels sufficient to meet both home and hybrid needs. #12 passenger van for sale fullA fast charger at home generates a full charge in less than 2 hours and, stopping home for a few minutes allows a "top-up" if we go out again. Battery mileage is about 30 miles and that covers 90% of our daily driving. That problem has mostly been solved by the Pacifica PLUG-IN Hybrid. My main problem with all of them is relatively poor mileage. #12 passenger van for sale trialI do believe ours, a 2017, since it was the first year of the re-made Pacifica's, was trial & error with issues, we should've waited till 2018!Īs far as practicality goes, I think the minivan was the greatest vehicle ever conceived. NOT happy! The warranty was still good for it and it was all taken care of, but still.a 3 1/2 year old car?īut we're keeping our car, I LOVE my Pacifica! (Hate to say it but we have a lot of safety features turned off, not once have I trusted a back-up camera, we are SO old school) Then 4-1/2 years in, driving down the road, the transmission went. Lots of the "alert" signs appeared for various things, but there wasn't ever a real problem. However two years in we started to have electronic issues, had to replace the big battery ($300 or so, all the flashy safety features suck it up) then the small battery. We got a 2017 Pacifica which exceeded our expectations on road trips by far! We camp in the back, luggage on roof, fabulous gas mileage! Even went to each coast for xmas in heavy snow up in NH Mtns & the car did great (We drive appx 5,000 each trip) The bad-back issues someone mentioned.I don't get it, the lumbar is fabulous, the seats are comfy, lots of leg room (we are in our late 50's and climb all around in that car and on the roof, no problem). When the new version came out I was hesitant to go back to a minivan look (kids are grown) but we do many road trips a year and need room and comfort. Had the older SUV version Pacifica & never had a problem in 8 years, excellent on road trips.
